Sonoma Sasquatch Footage, November 14, 2005

This video was shot on November 14, 2005 in Sonoma County. Mark Nelson and his girlfriend were hiking on some private land when he noticed the sasquatch in the brush at the bottom of the hill. He had no previous interest in the subject of the north american great ape.

I realize the resolution is terrible on this video of a sasquatch shot in Sonoma County. It is by no means conclusive. However, note the length of the arms in proportion to the body. Quite longer than a human's. A higher resolution video is available on the BFRO site. Follow the instructions to download a .mov file.

it frustrates me too. The downloadable file does have more detail, though, and is substantially clearer.

did you download the video and watch it, Mark?
it's more obvious on that version. And i'm talking about the arms being longer proportionaly to the body. a human's arms are about a third of the length of a human's body. the creature's arms look like there more like half the length of its body. But it's hard to tell with that footage. I was just making an observation which could be wrong.

Mark, you need to clean your glasses. I clearly saw the longer arms.

yeah actually after watching it again I think you could be right about that. theres one frame around the 13 second mark where you can see the right arm relativly well. its does look longer than a normal human arm, but do you think thats easy to fake?

that's the thing. It could be a guy in a suit with some special arm extensions for all we know. The BFRO seems to think that the way the figure moves shows evidence of a non-human anatomy. They probably had some professional analysts take a look at the film. It is strange how high the figure swings its arms and how it's bent over when it runs.

I was trying to compare the length of the forearm to the upper arm. If the forearm is unusually long compared to the upper arm, then you could make a case for it being faked. The suit would have arm extensions, but the man's elbow would still be in the same place so the lengthening of the arm would appear to be in the forearm. Then again, apes do have substantially longer forearms compared to their upper arms. You could make an argument either way. The video just doesn't show enough to be conclusive, and i guess no video ever will--a sasquatch must be killed or captured to have conclusive proof.
