Bigfoot 911 call

This 911 call took place in the mid-1990's on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State. Even if this isn't authentic, it's still entertaining.

I've heard this one a few times before. you can kind of sense real fear in the guys voice but some of the dialogue seems a bit staged. I love the end. "...and he's big. he IS BIG."

Yeah, i agree--almost like the 911 operator is prompting him. I love the end, too. "He's all black, and he's big. He is BIG." You know, i find it hard to believe that the call ended at that point. There must be more to the recording.

I know. i listen to this recording every now and then and still get a kick out of it. "That S.O.B. is about six foot nine, i don't know..."

By the way, i enjoyed the Pensacola Podcast. Wish i could have been there.

wait, so if this was a hoax wouldn't 911 have made a statement saying that they dont have this call on record?

yeah, that's true. So, actually, the only way it could be a hoax is if it was on the caller's part. That makes a hoax seem kind of unlikely b/c why would some guy make a call like that? The only reason, i guess, would be for his own amusement, which is possible.

Just got back from the Bigfoot museum in Felton california and heard this audio clip. If this was an actual 911 call why no "beeps" I think thats standard to let a person know they are being recorded. I'm pretty sure thats a federal law... Just a thought...

I've read that elsewhere that all extraneous noises (woman typing), info (like giving his name, address), pauses etc. were edited out to only give the "meat" of the call..The whole thing is out there and available, but the edited down version is the most common and the one you've probably heard.

My take is that the guy is sooo reluctant to use The "B" word (or "S" word) thru-out and seems so truly spooked and thrown by what he's seeing - sounded pretty authentic to me...

I've read the same thing about all nonessential information being edited out. That's wht there's no beeps or real-time pauses. But that call was real. I teach drama and theater and if that was staged, that was one of the most unbelievable acting jobs I've ever heard. The fear in his voice is something you can't replicate.

I heard he called before then stating that his dog was thrown 45 feet throught the air, which kinda' relates to this call, cause' he mentions that his dog was killed!
